403b vs 457b?

Through my job I have an optional 403b and 457b, I have enough in my budget to put an extra ~$500 every month and I’m not sure which one makes better sense for me as someone in my early 30s.

I am leaning towards opening a Roth 403b… Does that sound like a good choice?

I found this handy article on Investopedia that compares the two plans. It sounds like 403(b) offers more investment options than 457s, there are also differences in contribution limits and whether any employer match counts toward the contribution limit or not.
