Advise for a 21 yr old with 12k to invest

Taking advantage of job 401k up to match but unsure what to do with 12k that has been put aside in a savings account, have no debt only living expenses (rent, food, insurance).

@leeann I used this flowchart I found on reddit which helped me! https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/comments/4gdlu9/how_to_prioritize_spending_your_money_a_flowchart/

Hey @Ann!

I’d prioritize based on the phases of investing here:

If that’s your ONLY cash, I would leave some or all of it as your emergency fund, then invest further savings beyond that. If you’re on phase 4 or beyond, I’d start filling up accounts like this:

Nice work being so on the ball as a 21 year old! 401k, no debt, $12K in savings!!! You’re killing it!!! Keep learning and investing and you’re a future millionaire for sure.
