Buy Individual Stocks Inside Roth IRA?

Is it possible to buy individual stocks inside my Roth IRA? I’d like to buy a few Apple and Google stocks but haven’t been able to find that option on Vanguard and wondered if it was even possible. I don’t want to open a Robinhood brokerage account I’m guessing I’d have to pay tax on any gains from that account. Any advice?

Yes, it’s possible to buy individual stocks in roth IRA. I’m doing that - I use Schwab. I actually use my Roth for anything I want to trade for short term profit because there is no tax consequences lol. I would suggest calling Vanguard to ask them how to do it, maybe the option isn’t visually intuitive to do. If they really don’t allow it, Schwab is great!

Good to know it’s possible! I’ll call them and ask them how it’s done. Thanks!
