Where are my one percenters at?! With 281K followers, 73% of whom are in the US, that means I should have 2051 “one percent” followers, assuming my followers are a representative sample of the US. I suspect people who follow an investing page on Instagram are more likely to be wealthy than the average American though.
In 2019, I made this same post but the numbers were a bit different. I was in the 1% with a net worth of $3.8M at age 38… but now that I’m 40 with a net worth of $4.4M… I got bumped out of it!
