Mixing Target Date Funds

If I have a Roth IRA and HSA invested in the same target date fund such as VTTSX, but my employer’s 401k or 457B plan offers Charles Schwab investments… Should I invest in the Charles Schwab Target date fund SWYNX? I assume it is best to stick with one/same target date fund across all accounts if possible, but if you can’t due to limited employer fund options is that okay?

No, it’s not a problem at all. Some people like everything under one roof for convenience, but it’s not a bad thing at all to have accounts with different brokers.
