Moving funds from Edward Jones to Fidelity

Moving money from Edward Jones is turning into more of a headache than I’d hoped. My Roth, husband’s Roth and my SEP can’t be transferred because of the types of mutual funds used. Fidelity said I need to liquidate assets in these accounts but they weren’t sure there would be tax implications doing this. I plan to call my accountant, but has anyone dealt with this? Not crazy about talking to my EJ rep again who I am firing.

Probably not tax implications from SEP but would double check. No tax implications from Roth as long as you make sure the funds go from EJ Roth to Fidelity Roth.

EJ is a pain
