Hi,
Last year I met with a Personal Capital advisor and their approach to investing is something they call “Smart Weighting”, where you’re evenly invested across all sectors in the market which is supposed to minimize risk and according to them, it also performs better long term than normal investments which are usually heavily tech, financial service, health services. What are your thoughts on this type of weighted investing? Is there proof that this approach works better? If so, is the complexity of managing that type of portfolio not significantly worth it.
Thanks
Daniel
