Target Date Index Fund RoR

I am always seeing examples that the S&P 500 has given out an average 10% over the last 100 years etc, I am just curious if anyone has the long term data for what a target date index fund has done over the last 30-40 years etc? I currently have most of my money sitting in the VFFVX 2055 Target Date Index Fund. Thank you!

Since your fund started in September 2010, it can only be compared to another fund for the last 11 years.

Using the portfolio analyzer tool, starting with $10k and adding $500 per month, your VFFVX fund had a total return of $151,937 during that time period.

Using the same parameters, the SP 500 had a total return of $189,403 during the same period. I used the ticker SPLG for comparison.
