Does anyone have opinions about tax loss harvesting? I started by investing in FZROX and FZILX but am considering selling them to buy a target date index fund. I usually stay the course but in this particular market I’m wondering if this would be a wise move. Any thoughts appreciated.
If you wanted to switch, this might be a good time to do it! Do you have losses on those fund right now? Do you have any other gains this year or from previous years to offset? This is probably a better conversation to have with a tax professional since it may touch lots of parts of your tax situation!
Thanks for your reply Jeremy! Yes I have losses for those funds. Will have to look into this. Now my next questions is do FZROX and FZILX seem substantially similar to FDEWX?
