Hi,
I already submitted my 2019 taxes and still want to contribute to/max out my Roth IRA for 2019 (in the next couple of days). If I do that, how will the contribution affect my taxes?
No tax pro here but any money you put in a Roth IRA has already been taxed so there shouldn’t been any major implications to that regard.

I agree with @dgurgan, that since you’re contributing post-tax money it shouldn’t affect your taxes (although there is actually a low income tax credit that SAVES you money on taxes if you contribute to a Roth IRA and have a low income).
You do report on your taxes how much you contribute to your Roth IRA so the IRS has a record, so the IRS may want you to file an amendment if you make that contribution after you file.
And yes, we’re not tax professionals here, so make sure to check with whoever does your taxes or do your own research on the IRS website!
