I am finally figuring out all this investing stuff, just finished the course. Anyway, I have long had a Variable Rate IRA (at B of A) and it has an 18mo term and basically is just like a terrible CD. How can I move that into either an actual Traditional or Roth IRA and invest it? I’m figuring I’ll have to wait until it matures but then what? I can’t find much info on these types of accounts.
I could be wrong (consult a tax professional) but I think you might be able to roll over to a Roth or traditional IRA based on how you want to set it up.
