Say u buy 1 then it splits into 100 each it’s gon go back to like 400 in a couple years now each is worth 400
But let me ask you this: What if the stock splits 4:1, so now you have four shares worth $100 each. Then the stock drops to $25/share? Then you’ve lost 75% of your money!
The point is, a stock splitting has zero impact on what the share price is going to do in the future. The split occurs, simply to make an individual share more manageable to trade. It doesn’t mean the stock is more likely to go up 4x in value again in the future.
